I became motivated to paint Pope Francis when I heard about his trip to the United States. Somehow, I also wanted to include our pet rooster, Chucho (nickname for Jesus), in the painting.

Bay Area Latino Festival

Proud to have participated in the 1st Bay Area Latino Festival at the Oakland Oracle/Coliseum. I took part in the day version, great art and music. The event followed up in the evening with a concert featuring several bands including Los Angeles Azules, Ozomatli, Los Rakas – from Oaktown! – and the legendary Los Tigres del Norte. Viva Mexico!
